I GOTTA TESTIFY ...
Soooo it was results day the other day and I was greatly surprised to find out that not only am I graduating this summer, but I'm graduating with a good grade/honours and I'm so pleased.
I was really nervous about it cause I literally had no idea how I'd performed, plus I went through some hardships with some of my assessments which left me feeling a bit vulnerable to failure. BUT MY GOD IS GOOD!

Prior to the stressful period of the academic year, my faith and belief in God grew a lot - I used to have my doubts before but I won't get into that right now - and I started understanding the power of prayer. I began praying a lot more and amongst other things thanking God for the opportunities he has brought my way i.e. university and asking him to give me the strength to execute these opportunities i.e. my final year. More recently I fasted some of my favourite foods (bread, sweets/candy & ice cream) for about 4/5 weeks (which proved especially difficult during my time in Ibiza where ice cream looked so righteous). Alongside the fast, I prayed & prayed for God to meet me half way and bless me with good results. That he did and I couldn't be more grateful.
It's really hard to imagine being let down after all the hard work & stress. The thought of a whole three years of my life and the thousands spent on tuition pretty much going down the drain is devastating enough, let alone facing it in reality, which is is why I'm thanking God everyday for the mercy and favour he has had on me.
I also want to thank all my loved ones for their love, support, encouragement and prayers in the past and throughout my studies (this kind of sounds like an acceptance of award speech doesn't it lol - ah well). Couldn't have done it without them either, may they continue to be blessed. I can't tell you how nice it was to call my mum and hear the happiness & pride she outed, I really can't thank God enough for what he has done, I'm still ecstatic about it.
I'll leave it short and sweet but I just want to say that God is really great and may he bless the many of you who are awaiting that deadly day with great results too. Onwards and upwards eigh, all the best guys.
Now to decide on a graduation dress :)
P.S. Have a great summer
Love from a very happy, grateful and fulfilled Olive
